BOOYAH! Scary-Crayon is updated! In addition to those two pieces I gave blog readers a sneak-preview of this morning -- A Crayon Haiku #16 and Crayon Poetry Corner: Resident Evil 2 Edition -- you can now satisfy your weird food cravings with two new Foodstuffs selections -- THE SANDWICH THAT PETRIFIES THE GODS and Turtle Spew. The former is by far the most fearsome, though I have a feeling that many folks will go for the latter, especially with the TMNT tie-in. Oh, and Caren should like Turtle Spew as well. It's got oatmeal in it. 🙂

Hopefully those will keep folks entertained for the next week, since I leave for NYC early in the morning! I'm not sure if I'll be able to update the blog or answer e-mail and such, but we'll see. And I plan on getting in one more post before I shut down the PC, so I'll see you then. Ja!

Okay, I decided to go ahead and post that piece now, just to give people something to tide them over until Friday's more substantial update. So here it is -- A Crayon Haiku: Resident Evil 2 Edition. The images are from an old demo version of Resident Evil 2 for the PC that I apparently took a bunch of screencaps from five or so years ago, so upon digging them up I just took a handful of the buggers and wrote haikus about each. Enjoy!

So after closing those five nights in a row, I've got a couple of days to rest and get ready for that trip before going back in on Friday. Ugh. I might post again today with more HORROR FROM THE BOOKSTORE!!!! Might not. We'll see. Until next time... ja.

Today, Scary-Crayon presents its first contribution to a multi-site spanning topic with... THE FIVE FUNNEST GAMES EVER???????? -- a list of five video games that I found to be exceptionally enjoyable, complete with mini reviews of each. It's a little different from the majority of SC offerings, but it's probably the only article on the web today in which a caveman sodomizes another caveman... who just happens to be married. ENTER THE CACTUS! At long last, Scary-Crayon reviews Naked Blood. Not sure if I'd recommend viewing at work, but there is a nice handy-dandy warning included in the article (for comedic effect, mostly, but it works as a legitimate warning too) right before the gruesome defining scene of the film, so theoretically you could read up to that point and then save the rest for home perusal.
