A quiz, links, a drawing, AMCWTW, and the Flash...
Category: Art … Meme

From Amanda, who got it from Jenica (who's been added to the links, though I've taken the liberty of shortening her blog title -- I'd Rather Be A Mermaid Than A Flame -- for aesthetic reasons), a quiz.

6.25 %

My weblog owns 6.25 % of me.

Does your weblog own you?

I probably would've scored even lower had it not been for the question about whether you dream about meeting other people you only know from their blogs and the internet. I wouldn't say that I dream about it -- in that I fantasize about meeting them and give serious thought to what I would say if I ever happened upon them in person -- but I would like to meet most of the people whose blogs are linked in the sidebar. And I did have that dream about meeting Caren (read about it here, and whoa, has it been a month already?), so I answered yes. And while I'm at it, congrats to Caren regarding the rising success of her new book, and my thanks to her for the link. Anyway, there's another quiz window I can close. (more...)

Scary-Crayon updated!
Category: SC Updates

Scary-Crayon has the soul of a poet, as evidenced in these two latest pieces: A Crayon Haiku #13 and Crayon Poetry Corner #1. They're fairly quick and painless, so read and enjoy. 🙂 And as always, comments via e-mail are appreciated.

I finished up the drawing of the mystery character shown in part last time (click or scroll down), but I'll give you a little longer to guess who it is. Y'know, if you care to. Anon and RPD (webmaster of Ice Anvil Online; good stuff there) have got it so far. Feel free to add your guesses to the mix. Ja! 🙂

The dark master of useless talents.

I'm not in the greatest spirits tonight, so I'm rockin' the Billy Idol. Dancin' with myself, oh-oh-oh. With a rebel yell, she cried, "More, more more." More what? Don't ask me; just don't mess up my hair. And let's sink another drink, eh? Drinking Gekkeikan Sake and DeKuyper Sour Apple Pucker mixed with Diet Mountain Dew over here. What's your poison? To kill...time.
Category: Meme

Presently I'm searching for another quiz to throw up for the masses. In another window I'm perusing quizilla.com's "Highest Rated Quizzes" list. Many of them are specifically "for girls only." What does that say about who's mostly taking/writing/rating these things, hm? I'm tempted to go with the "What Kind of Vampire Are You?" quiz, despite that only crossdressing guys should take it (don't laugh, honey; I can probably fit your dress and one two sizes smaller ;P), but we're going to go with... Scary-Crayon updated! and defective Dawn.
Category: SC Updates

It's finally up -- the Scary-Crayon review of The Madballs History of the World. I love those balls more than you know. 🙂

And I took the second defective Dawn of the Dead dvd back today to exchange it for another, but this time I thought to ask if I could test it out in the store first. Well, we went through three more defective copies before the employee got really annoyed with me and pretty much told me to either accept store credit or take a defective dvd. Obviously I chose the former, but I wasn't too happy with that either -- fooling with stupid Dawn has wasted way too much of my time. I submitted a complaint/explanation via a form on the Anchor Bay website, so we'll see what happens with that. I'm upset. And you know what? I blame Dawn, since her name's in the title. Just kidding, Dawn. ;P

I did find $10 while walking back to Best Buy, though, so it wasn't a total bust. I think I deserve it.
