Scary-Crayon updated!
Category: SC Updates

Well, I said I'd get it up on Monday, and I came through. Kinda late, but still...

Scary-Crayon presents: Chocolate Chip Cheese Cookies!!!

Enjoy. I'll be back later tonight with a reg'lar blog post and a few words about the new Dawn of the Dead. Here's the short version: It sucked. Yep. Boldfaced, italicized, and underscored. That bad.

Scary-Crayon updated! with goth girls.
Category: SC Updates

That last post was done at what, past 5 AM? You should've known I wouldn't be awake/functioning in time to whip the food article into shape. But I do have Crayon Poetry Corner #2 for you -- it's a playful little number I wrote up the other day, entitled "goth girl". So you know what it's about. Mostly. 😉

And speaking of goth girls, have a look at Mandy Winslow.

Mandy Winslow, goth girl extraordinaire!

An e-mail with her picture showed up in a clever advertisement for the new X-Files game, which was set up like a newsletter of sorts and briefly detailed several strange incidents. (more...)

Judgment reviewed.
Category: Meme … SC Updates … Serious … TV, Film, & DVDs

So I just got through watching Judgment on dvd. I pulled it out of the massive $5.50 bin in Walmart, and -- I'll be honest -- I was expecting it to really suck. Granted, I expected it to be awfully entertaining. After all, it had Mr. T, larger than life, on the dvd cover, and the premise of the movie has to do with the trial of none other than God Him/Her/Itself. (more...)

A dream.
Category: Dreams

First off, Mac made reference to my previous entry (click or scroll down, as usual) in a post entitled "Destroyed for lack of knowledge?" Naturally, I don't agree with everything he says -- I may write more about it later, but suffice it to say that I don't think the Bible should be the standard of morality as far as our laws are concerned -- but we do seem to be in agreement that Kevin McCullough's article was pretty muddled and made little sense. And even with Dawn's clarification, I'd probably have disagreed with his point (see my comment in Mac's blog), but maybe he might've given a good argument in support of it. I can't say, though, since he didn't bother to make the argument in the article. 😛

SO! I had no funny April Fool's Day jokes or gags for you yesterday. But I have a dream for you now. Enjoy! (more...)

Lavu Lavu!
Category: Serious

It's been a while since we've had a substantial post. I meant to detail those wacked-out recent dreams of mine, but they can wait.

Blogger pal Dawn has written another entry addressing the issue of same-sex marriage, cleverly titled "There's Something About 'Marry'". She begins her post by noting a "typical tactic" used by those in favor of same-sex marriage to discredit their opponents: "creating the impression of moral equivalency so people will believe that any opposition to homosexual marriage equals bigotry." (more...)
