Who the hell is Rerun?

You are Rerun!

You are Rerun!

Which Peanuts Character are You?
brought to you by Quizilla

Thanks to Sarah and Sydney (and whoever else posted it; I've only seen these two so far) for linking the quiz.

Off to get ready to close at HELLJOB again. Last night sucked. Then I got mercilessly rained on (thanks, Ivan). So tired of this. Alicia Silverstone's birthday seems like as good a day as any for dying, don't you think?

Ja.

The usual suck.
Category: Miscellany

Still... so... tired. But things are just about back to normal. Worked a day shift at the bookstore Wednesday, closing tonight and tomorrow night (not to mention a mandatory associates' meeting at 8 AM tomorrow) -- yeah, the usual suck has resumed. For the most part, Wednesday was pretty slow and dull, which led me to think that maybe I prefer the days with multiple assholes -- because at least then I have a reason to complain (over and above the shitty wages and the toilet-cleaning aspects of the job). With the asshole customers, the job really feels like punishment, so at least then I'm getting a greater karmic benefit out of it. And stories, of course. (more...)

Yay! It's A Crayon Haiku: Times Square Toys "R" Us Edition!!! Ave, Rex. Ave!

Oh, and apparently I don't have to work until tomorrow, so I get to relax for another night. Hurrah! Anyway, more later. Ja for now!

NINJA BOBBLEHEAD!!!

Yep, I'm back. Got back on Saturday evening, actually, but I've been resting. Or trying to, anyway. Tomorrow it's back to the bookstore. Interesting stories and such from the trip COMING SOON to a blog near you. And as far as Scary-Crayon goes, I should have a new special edition Crayon Haiku installment up before I skip off to work tomorrow. I've picked up lots of material for the site -- perhaps too much -- so it'll take me a while to wade through all of it, not to mention all of the other stuff that I had on deck beforehand. It's entirely likely that you'll be reading reviews of things from the NYC trip in December. (more...)

Leeching! Knockoffs! To be continued...
Category: Miscellany

Okay, Scary-Crayon's not really experiencing a popularity surge -- it's just that the bandwidth leeches and image thieves are out in full force and I'm not amused. Apparently a livejournal user who happens to be on fifty-billion friends' lists sourced an image from the April article, and now it's gotten a TON of referrals. It's not that large an image, and for most of the viewers it should spawn an error message (for some reason, the image displays fine on foreign computers in Anon's browser), but still, it's apparently raising the bandwidth numbers quite a bit. Sigh.

In other news, I found TMNT bootlegs today in Chinatown! But I think they might be candles, as Raphael has a wick coming out of his head. None of the others do, though. Unlike some of the other pretty decent bootlegs I've seen, these are really awful knockoffs -- they're not even articulated. But I'll say no more for now, as they'll be getting their own SC review (of course) when I get back to MD.

There are definitely more things to be said about the past few days (including Anon's first trip to a Chinatown VCD shop, which he did NOT enjoy -- sorry for dragging you in there, pal...), but I'll write about those at a later time. STAY TUNED!!!
