NINJA BOBBLEHEAD!!!

Yep, I'm back. Got back on Saturday evening, actually, but I've been resting. Or trying to, anyway. Tomorrow it's back to the bookstore. Interesting stories and such from the trip COMING SOON to a blog near you. And as far as Scary-Crayon goes, I should have a new special edition Crayon Haiku installment up before I skip off to work tomorrow. I've picked up lots of material for the site -- perhaps too much -- so it'll take me a while to wade through all of it, not to mention all of the other stuff that I had on deck beforehand. It's entirely likely that you'll be reading reviews of things from the NYC trip in December.

So yeah, more to come. I'll have to update (and perhaps sort) the list o' blog links, since I met a bunch more people who aren't on there yet. I'll have lots of stories to tell about the trip. I'll have lots of in-depth observations about people that may or may not tick them off and make them want to kill me.

OFF WITH HIS HEAD!!!

Whoops, too late. Anyway...

Brad/Bob/The Anonymous Blogger -- Thanks for hosting me and tagging along during several of my Manhattan escapades, even though you didn't particularly seem to enjoy them. Hope I wasn't too much of a burden. Sorry I worried you and kept you up that one night -- I really would've called if I could've found that number. But at least now we know that onion rings at The Slaughtered Lamb have a strange texture not unlike that of fried calamari rings.

Chris -- Thanks for the graphic novels! I was really young when Thundercats and Robotech were the rage and therefore don't remember them too well, so reading these trades will be like rediscovering something I missed out on as a kid. Hopefully they won't disappoint! And even if they do, that'll just give me something else to say isn't nearly as great as the Turtles. 😉 Thanks for posting that article link, too (not that it said anything I didn't know ;)), and the photo CD. Sydney's blue wig looks so much better in high resolution!

Pam -- Thanks for hosting us on Friday night! That was great tea. Sorry your monsters (the biggest cats... I ever seen...) made me so sick. But hey, at least we know I'm allergic to giant cats now. And sorry for being useless as far as directions go -- I know you found that pretty irritating. I assume y'all got back okay. And too bad you didn't like Swami Yomahmi! That guy was hilarious. 😀

So that's all for now. If you didn't get mentioned this time, don't fret -- more acknowledgements and stories and photos (!!!) are forthcoming.

Ja for now!
