I'm seriously considering using WordPress to create the Scary-Crayon blog (which will be its own section, replacing the Site Talk block on the main page).

And I don't plan on having the blog ready for it, but the layout update should go up this weekend/early next week. I'm also thinking of using an embedded frame for the main and section archive pages, similar to what Matt recently did on X-Entertainment. That wouldn't be for the current layout mod, but it's a possibility for the future. It would definitely streamline things.

The freaknerds have left. Less than an hour to go.

Another thing that pisses me off about them is that, for all of their freaknerdishness, the dork-trivia authoritative mien they exude, and the obvious fact that they have no lives outside of their geeky media pursuits, they really know jack shit about what they're talking about. (more...)

NEW ARTICLE!!! As promised, Scary-Crayon presents... He's Not Fucking Into You. Also, as noted in the Site Talk block (which has also been updated), this article is more/less what the updated layout will look like, so enjoy and get used to it. Whenever I get around to updating the main and archive pages, you'll have it to look at, along with a few more hand-drawn pieces for decoration and whatnot. I'm really pleased with how it's turning out.

Anyway, I hope y'all enjoy the new article -- especially you ladies out there. Comment or send an e-mail and let me know what you think of the advice therein! It's better than any of Oprah's bullshit, that's for sure.
