I want my rubber ducky!

Volo anaticulum cumminosam meam! "I want my rubber ducky!"
Okay, so you're a little childish. You know how to have a good time.

Which Weird Latin Phrase Are You?
brought to you by Quizilla

At first I saw that result and said, "Bah, whatever," but now that I think about it, that statement probably says more about me than any quiz result thus far. I mean it's in Latin -- thereby illustrating the complexity and seriousness of my thought, person, etc. -- but it also says, "I want my rubber ducky!" And I do. I really do. Or at least an Ace Duck action figure. I never owned an Ace Duck. :/ (more...)

Wes in the Crystal City Labyrinth!
Category: Photo … Travels

If you live in the MD-DC-VA metro area and have a crush on someone who's anything like me, you just found the perfect date spot. Admittedly, one of the reasons that I don't drive is that I like to wander around on foot (since I'm never in a hurry and don't at all mind being away from here). Few things are as much fun for me as getting lost in some new and previously uncharted place. Of course, I always know that I'll eventually find my way back, but I have no idea how long it'll take me -- or, more importantly, what I'll see on the way -- and that's really exciting. (more...)

Bacardi is gone :(
Category: Miscellany

Yep, since yesterday my sister returned from Spring Break in Florida, Bacardi left us last night. It's nice to have some quiet again and to not have to worry about him running around and crapping on the carpet, but I still kinda miss the little guy. Hopefully my sister will continue to take good care of him. Here's a photo of us on his last day at the house.

The last few days -- especially Friday -- were pretty eventful, so I've been too busy/exhausted to post much. Hopefully I'll have another Scary-Crayon article up this evening, but if not, then definitely tomorrow. Also, soon, expect a photo post (briefly) detailing one of my adventures on Friday. I'm thinking I might take the entire Friday adventure and make it into a SC special, but I dunno. (more...)

Scary-Crayon updated!
Category: SC Updates

Just a quick note to say yes, Scary-Crayon updated. I've had this one laying around, but I thought it was time for it to go live -- so this time we've got for you the first ever Scary-Crayon video game review: "The Wizard of Oz" for the SNES. It's pretty awful. The game, that is. Hopefully the review itself isn't so bad.

The latest Oprah magazine is also dreadful (from the looks of the cover; I'm too afraid to open the thing), so despite my NOT WANTING TO GO ANYWHERE NEAR IT I'm still very tempted to scan the cover and go for another review...ugh. We'll see.

And a couple of the recent SC articles have been among my favorites to ever grace the site, so if you missed out on Where's April??? and the McDonald's Cup Review, be sure to give them a read.

New SC content on Sunday or Monday, but I'll probably have more to say in the blog tonight. And new links! Ja for now. 🙂
