Thus revealed, the creature buried its nose in the tire-tilled soil...

Well, I was going to write about how awful my day was (with one notable exception), but then something else happened... so it is with a heavy heart that I bid farewell to someone who's lived in this house almost as long as I can remember. (more...)

I <3 Hot Topic. And anime. With images!
Category: Miscellany

No photos of me shirtless this time, though. 😛

So the other night I stopped into Hot Topic in Arundel Mills and got that same giddy rush that usually comes over me whenever I step into a HT store no matter where it is in the country. Now I know a lot of people, especially among the older and/or slightly more mature gothic crowd, don't like the chain because it took the "original" culture they grew up with (and to some extent feel that they created, or at least somehow made their own) and essentially made it a trendy place where rebellious teenagers can conveniently pick up threads to flaunt their attitude and piss off their parents and schoolteachers, and I can understand that. It's time for a photo post! With shirts.

Well, I was halfway through this post when Firefox decided to crash on me. So I lost it. And I'm pissed. Therefore, the rewrite of this post won't be half as interesting as the original was. Hell, I'm not even going to try to make it as interesting as the original. It can't be done. So even if you're pleased with what follows, remember that the original was better. And blame Firefox for stealing your one opportunity to read it. Curse you, Firefox. (more...)

We are all prostitutes.

HI! Hope everyone's doing better than I am.

I attended an interview and information session with Vector Marketing today. Perhaps you've heard of them. They market CUTCO cutlery products -- good stuff too. The demonstration included the interviewer cutting a penny into a corkscrew with a pair of CUTCO scissors, not to mention cutting through thick ropes with single swipes and extra clean cuts. Still, I don't think selling knives is my thing... and besides, there would be issues with transportation since the job would require me to go to people's houses to show off the merchandise. But I didn't want to do it anyway. Meh. (more...)

:(
Category: Miscellany

I didn't get back from work until 11:40.

Somehow, I lost my watch.

I am tired and hungry.

And my ass hurts.

And it's too late for a drink.

But I think I'll have one anyway.

And ice cream.

Which will melt.

Because my life is Hell.
