Thus revealed, the creature buried its nose in the tire-tilled soil...

Guess what I was doing at midnight tonight!
Category: Miscellany

If you guessed "scrubbing toilets," you are rrrrright. Partial credit for "wishing you (meaning me) were dead and/or cursing your miserable existence," because up until I went into the bookstore this evening things had actually been going fairly well during the past couple of days.

There was a highlight, though. During my half hour break, I went over to the mall and ducked into Spencer's -- they're closing, so prices are slashed bigtime and I've been buying tons of crap from the store in recent weeks -- and had the privilege of being checked out by one of the most gorgeous girls I've ever seen. Like one of those girls who makes you say, "Guh!" because she's so bloody beautiful and then, "Bloody hell...!" as in, "Bloody hell, what just happened?!" because she's also so beautiful that the sight of her knocked you out of this plane of existence and momentarily sent your spirit someplace else. I don't exactly know where that place is, but I know that it's a happy place that smells of cookies and potpourri. The kind of place one never wants to leave. So, gorgeous girl who works at the Laurel Spencer's, if you ever stop by here, know that the dude who keeps buying the Hellraiser and Hellboy figures thinks that you're one of the prettiest creatures he's ever seen. OKAY!

Now, courtesy of Stefan, two really great Flash animations on Newgrounds: Hoy te amo and Renaissance (of the Insignificant).

Today will be a day for returning e-mails! And I should get the second part of the Christmas with Gumby review finished at some point, too. But for now... ja.
