When I was your age, I was still studying at the university, with no real ideal what I wanted to do with my life. The only advice I can give is, do what you love, and love what you do, never let yourself become bitter, and never, work long at a job you truly hate. I know New York sounds exciting, but it can also be a hell hole to a new person without a secure job. Stay out of debt, make sure you have enough money saved up before committing to the big adventure. ....Good luck at whatever you do!
