Here it is, an article months in the making -- a full review of Best Friend Colton. And I hope you enjoy it! 'Cause maybe it's just me, but this one strikes me as a little lacking, inspiration-wise... but I guess it's hard for me to enjoy anything given how I've been feeling lately. Meh.

As far as last time's food concoction goes, I'd have to say that Sam came closest with his guess of "cream corn, nuts, oatmeal, ground up spagetti, and some sort of dried fruit," nailing close to three of the actual ingredients. Oats/oatmeal was the obvious ingredient and was indeed in attendance in that bowl of tasty goodness -- because believe it or not, that stuff was delicious. No creamed corn or spaghetti were there, though. There was, however, chunky peanut butter, so Sam's guess of "nuts" wasn't entirely inaccurate, and while the fruit wasn't dried, per se, there was a mashed up month-old (I think we bought those in February...) brown banana in there as well. The other two ingredients? Chocolate liqueur and Frosted Flakes, 'cause they're grrrrreat! So now the mystery has been solved. Feel free to make your own at home (preferably using a fresher banana), 'cause that's good eatin'.

Oh, and I got a watch yesterday to replace the one I lost... and I hate it. Here is a haiku about it:

Curse you, stupid watch --
you beep-beep no matter what!
I'm returning you.

It's got "hourly chime" listed as one of its features, which would normally be okay, but here's the kicker -- YOU CAN'T TURN THE HOURLY CHIME OFF! What the hell kind of feature is that? What if I don't want it to chime, like during a movie or when I'm fucking trying to sleep??? Timex dropped the ball with that one. And for that, I hate them.
