It's been a while since we've had a nice lengthy commentary of sorts, but today's update brings us a rousing examination of some recent advertising trends and examples in an article entitled Stupid Internet Ads! You won't believe who McDonald's got to plug their artery-clogging crap this time around, but as Kurt Angle would say, "It's true, it's true."

In other news, apparently we've still got one slot left for FIVE QUESTIONS -- Brent's in, De's in, Sam's in, and Greg's in, but we still need a fifth. Sadly, Dee has no blog to play. SO. Who will it be, hm? Seriously, how tough can it be to get five bloggers together to play the FIVE QUESTIONS game? Estella had to turn people away because so many wanted to get in on the action over at her place. Am I a bad host? My blog is unpopular and sad now. 🙁 C'MON FIFTH PLAYER!

Anyway, to answer Anon's quick question, I have no idea what I'll watch now that Angel's off the air, especially since Teen Titans has been on a really long hiatus and the new TMNT cartoon is done for the season. Not that it matters, since with my sister being here I'm pretty much confined to my room -- you can imagine that it's pretty tough to get along with someone whom you know despises you vehemently and whom you can't trust for a second, so I prefer to avoid conflict for the most part and just stay in my room. Smallest room in the house, and with all of my action figures I don't have room for a TV... so I guess I'll watch DVDs on my computer. I really wish I could move the hell out of here. Anyway, hopefully we can talk about the "Angel" series finale in the next post.

So yeah, things have been pretty awful for me lately, but at least today's interview at Books A Million went well, or so it seemed to me. Hopefully I'll hear back from them tomorrow to see if I got the job. Fingers crossed, everyone.

Oh, and I picked up the Kingdom Come Series 1 Wonder Woman today for $5. Piss-poor articulation -- it's more of a small statue with limited posing ability than an action figure, really -- but I think it's got the nicest ass of any figure I've purchased to date. And given some of the competition in my collection, that's saying a lot.

Aaaand that story of mine came back today. REEE-JECTED! I need a fucking drink.
