Thus revealed, the creature buried its nose in the tire-tilled soil...

It's not just for hair anymore!

I'm not usually terribly keen on the blue background -- I think it somehow distracts the eye from the figures themselves -- but I was shocked to discover how easily it's removed! Seriously, I was able to isolate the figures from the background in the first image below in three minutes or less. If I find that this initial experience wasn't just a fluke, I may have to take advantage of this to make more toy comics.

Hurray for chroma key effects?Captain Jack, Sarah Jane, and the Clockwork Man in the TARDIS!

Bring on the classic figures, Character Options. I'm ready!

That's flippin' great that you can do that so easily! =) Wheredja get the warpstar necklace?!

  • Wes says:

It came with my Cordelia figure -- it was given to her by Anya(nka) after she granted her wish in "The Wish." It's not much good to Cordy since she can't actually wear it, but it does bear a nice resemblance to Sarah Jane's vending machine warpstar necklace! 🙂

And I might have spoken too soon about the ease of isolating figures on the blue background, though the fact that it was a tad bit more difficult this time around could also have to do with the complex outlines of the characters I shot for the latest toy comic. That said, the Doctor and Rose were pretty cooperative!

I didn't know there was a new Captain Jack figure! Must have!

He is very cool! I figured they'd make a new one eventually, which is why I held off on buying the other one. It's all about the coat. 🙂

They're making another Jack for the upcoming Torchwood line, though, so you may want to wait for that -- I think it should be out very soon. I'm looking forward to getting Gwen myself...
