I just saw a commercial for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in which Morgan Freeman and a bunch of other people declared that St. Jude's will never never never never never never never stop searching for a cure for cancer. Never.
And I thought, "Never? Like, not even if they found one? Doesn't sound like they're too optimistic about succeeding."
T.A.B. says: It doesn't quite sounds as dramatic, does it?
"We'll never stop searching for a cure. Unless, of course, y'know, we found it. Then we'd eat pizza."
I think Chris Rock has a routine about how all this money goes to research, but nothing has been cured for 40 years.
Someone also commented on Stern that no celebrities seem to die of aids anymore, implying that there is some expensive cure out there.
