These are my dragons! I made the red one first (ah like red, so ah colored it meself ;)) and hypothesized that the attractive glossy photo paper was contributing to the ruin of the illusion (shadows and lighting have a much more pronounced effect on it, making it a lot easier to perceive the depth in the facial cavity), so I went ahead and made another dragon on regular paper to see if that worked better. It didn't, and I've since found that the illusion is facilitated by closing one eye (thereby removing the problem of depth perception), so I'll probably end up making one more glossy dragon (in addition to maybe another creature of my own) to add to the mix. I think I will color it green, yes.
I wore these clothes in elementary school... almost 20 years ago. I can still fit them. Fairly well, in fact -- the sweater might even fit better now than it did back then. Buttons up comfortably and everything.
Here is me with the sweater unbuttoned.
The pants fit slightly less well. The waist is fine (apparently the tag has been lost, so I can't tell what size they are), but they're a little tight in the back and make my bum look a bit big. They're definitely in no danger of tearing apart at the seams when I sit, bend forward, et cetera, though. Which means that they fit better than a lot of women's jeans (!!!) oh ho ho ho ho. Maybe in another 20 years the pants will fit perfectly.
This post is kind of depressing.
