Sarah: You often loan your DVDs to people? Gasp! I could see loaning some of my titles to others, but I can almost guarantee that it would be an exceedingly rare occurrence. ;)

But yeah, Chasing the Frog is okay if most of your titles are popular and you don't have any obscure versions (though I guess that wouldn't necessarily be a problem for your purposes, since all you'd really need is a reminder). I like to include the specific version of the film that I have, but there are even some fairly well-known flicks -- like Mary Shelley's Frankenstein and some foreign films that have since gotten "official" US releases -- for which my version isn't in their database. Sadness.

Mick: Guessing is fun, except then you run the risk of buying something you already have! The week before last I bought "Angel" Season 5, and it wasn't until I added it to my DVDSpot database and saw two entries for the set that I remembered I already had it.

And there you go, or as some would say, "And Bob's yer uncle." So much for that; I hadn't even looked at my account for some months and although it was time consuming to even list the little I did, I won't miss it. I like to guess at what DVDs I have, anyhow. =)

I think I'm going to list my collection at Chasing the Frog. I've been meaning to be more organized about my DVDs -- I often loan them to people and then forget about it until I'm in the mood to watch something and I can't find it.
