Thus revealed, the creature buried its nose in the tire-tilled soil...

So, yesterday saw three blog updates, two of which make me sad. If you haven't gotten around to reading those yet, scroll down (or whatever) and read them.

With SC, I'm thinking I'll forego the mid-week update and just try to get everything I can ready for Friday. So hopefully that'll be four pieces, including the special editions of A Crayon Haiku and Crayon Poetry Corner (one of which I may decide to post tonight, so adjust these numbers accordingly). And possibly five, if I whip up another piece. I'll shoot for five, but no promises. Either way, there should be some good stuff to keep you entertained while I'm gone.

And a quick dream recap -- last night I dreamed that I rode up to NYC on the Greyhound and a few guys that I know/knew from high school rode up with me. So we walked around NYC for a bit when we got there, checked out a Toys 'R' Us, rode an escalator through a fountain or something -- it was weird -- and then eventually we ended up in a subway terminal, whereupon I remembered that I should've called T.A.B. to let him know I got into town ok. So while I'm fiddling with the phone, those guys disappeared... and then the phone died. So I gave up with that and just looked around, not knowing what to do now that I'd pretty much been abandoned in the station. And then I noticed some tears in my clothing, so I opened my suitcase and began to change clothes right there in the station. But just as I got my shirt off, those guys came back with a girl. So she greeted me and we had a very depressing introductory conversation that was full of nervous laughter and wiping at our eyes. Nobody actually said anything about my shirt being off, but she seemed to notice. And then I woke up.

Lots of shirtless dreams lately.

And now, I must prepare to close at the bookstore for the fifth night in a row. Ja.
