i thought the lack of a villian(s) of substance, the giant plot twist, and Jason Bateman playing roughly the same character he always does added up to me asking "seriously?" after seeing this.. - i wasn't a big fan.. - i did enjoy the first act, with Smith playing a jerk, that was entertaining..

I didn't like "Turn Left," although admittedly, I'm not a HUGE Dr. Who fan. I watch it with the Hub, and 'cause the guy playing the title role is kinda cute. Hey, whatever works. But I have to agree with much of what you said in your review. I actually laughed when the line about Donna Noble being the most important person in all of creation because it negates the importance of, or even the existence of the rest of the people who've been with him along the way. I thought the fortune teller was lame. I thought every sign reading Bad Wolf was lame. Again, however, I can't say that I'm a true fan so perhaps my thoughts are biased unfairly against the show to begin with.

I don't plan on seeing Hancock. They were doing reshoots within weeks of the release and the premier was pushed back. That generally means it didn't test well with audiences , parts of it suck and they're trying to put band-aids on things to make it palatable. I don't usually like to see movies like that. But that's just me.

Oh, and PS:
I hope you hear from Wikipedia soon!
