Thanks for the comment, Anonymous (et alia :)). Actually, I think the overall quality of writing on IGN sites has declined significantly during the past few years -- perhaps inversely proportional to the rise in Flash advertisements and inexplicable hotlinks in the articles' text. It's like the original editors now all have kids who are of age to write the reviews, so they just let them take over despite their utter lack of writing talent.

I can understand the occasional typo or grammatical mistake (the best of us make 'em and they can be hard to spot, especially in an html document), but the blatant and repeated errors in documents like the one you've linked above are pretty much unacceptable.

With respect to publishing reviews, I don't know of too many sites that offer payment for submissions. Actually, my failure to generate any responses from their editors (or those at online rags that don't offer monetary compensation, for that matter) was pretty much the reason that I initiated Scary-Crayon in the first place. :) Drop me a line if you've got any links I should check out, though!

Been ghosting your sites for a few years. Maybe you should try publishing your reviews? I saw this over at IGN and though to myself, "Wes would have killed that."
