Still working on a response to Mac's three posts (one-two-three) that addressed my previous entry entitled "Why I am not a Christian (in part)". From the part that I've written so far, it's shaping up to be a lengthy amalgamation of my thoughts on the matter rather than a sustained and pointed reply, but it should be a good read for those of you interested in the subject. I should get it up tomorrow, but if not, Sunday for sure. In the meantime...

Yep. Totally awesome. The Man of Steel sandwiched in between two boxes of the greatest cereals ever -- Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles. I'm stoked and quite pleased, too.

Yup. SUPERMAN! Unfortunately, these swanky combos only came with Superman figures -- I spent a bit of time rifling through the boxes in search of Batman to no avail. But I'll be honest with you, if all of the Justice League characters had gotten their own collectible figures and I could only have one, I would've gone for Hawkgirl. (Check her out on the Heroic Toons JL page. I just wish they had pics of the current Giganta. *drool*) Since the discussion with Anon and De drove me to contemplate the products of heroic bowels, among other things, it seems that Hawkgirl's been given a greater role on the show and is not only capable of stringing together multiple sentences but also of kicking some serious ass. She's all hell with that electric mace, and last night she took out four members of the Green Lantern Corps in unarmed combat. Hawkgirl rules. I need a Hawkgirl action figure now.

By the way, speaking of the Heroic Toons page -- spotlighted by De the other day (depending on how "De" is pronounced, that might've been worth a yuk or two) -- check out the Wonder Woman sketches in the Super Friends section. Baby got back. There's also a pic of the old Giganta, but she's nowhere near as hot as the new one (see her World's Finest bio here). Oh, I'd still date the old one, but she scares me.
