My feelings are kind of hurt right now. It's no big, really, but still -- wow. These things probably shouldn't affect me as much as they do. But still -- wow.

My inner child is one year old!

My inner child is one year old!

Everything is new to me. I like watching the world
go by around me, and I don't sweat the small stuff --
or the large stuff, either. Just so long as I stay
warm and safe and dry, life's pretty good.

How Old is Your Inner Child?

Way off the mark, but I thought I'd post it. Dunno how I ended up with that, though.

Readership at SC hit an all-time low in the past few days, with even fewer readers in the last two days than the site had during its opening days -- that is, when absolutely nobody should've heard of it. Here, to give you an idea of how slow things are. The TMNT article (at least the first page of it) is still the most viewed piece on the site (not counting the index and main pages), but just barely -- look how close it came to being dethroned! And look how few people read it and the others. The TMNT article pulled in 424 readers on its best day, folks, and was pulling 100-200 daily for quite a while. Now? Twelve. And maybe it's related to the reason my feelings are hurt -- maybe people are getting sick of the site -- and me -- pretty quickly. I know that's the case somewhere, anyway. Oh well; I'll keep it up as long as I can, and I've got a bunch of content already finished and half-finished that I'd hate to let go to waste. Lots of Crayon Haikus in the queue, etc. Have you read the latest article?

Other things you should read: my recent post on the "homosexuality issue" (or, y'know, scroll down a bit). I've gotten a couple of e-mails regarding it, which is good, since I get so few e-mails. So if you've got anything to add, you know what to do.

Also, I've gotten a few random e-mails regarding my resume -- mostly automated messages (i.e. spam) concerning some working from your own home making money clicking links/selling crap kind of deals. I read these and I wonder if whoever thought I'd be interested in these actually read the resume, but more than that I wonder how my resume got in the databases so these robots could send me stuff in the first place. Are there robots crawling around looking for "resume.html" files? Or do I have benefactors/enemies who are submitting my resume to these sites in my name? I dunno, but I saw The Matrix and these spambots are getting out of hand. Next thing you know they'll be using your babies for fuel.

Still waiting on that rejection from Playboy.

And I guess that'll do it for this post.
